Story
Living with Multiple Sclerosis for over thirty years now has brought me many challenges, mentally and physically. Although I've been lucky, being happily married with two sons . Despite my disability I have always liked to challenge myself by for example competing in the Fastnet Yacht race in 1999, Sailing on the Lord Nelson Tall Ship from Brazil to Canada and 'riding NEARLY every rollercoaster in Florida! THANKS BOYS!
What I'm trying to say here is that life doesn't have to stop after diagnosis although we are all different of course.
Over the last 30 years I have used the MS centre here at West Parley on or off for the wonderful resource it is. Physio classes have kept me going and the social interaction is very important giving me many friendships and a feeling of community.
The Centre requires a large amount of money to buy new physio equipment as well as running costs to stay open. This is why I ask if you can give whatever you can and support my cause.
I KNOW JUMPING OUT OF A PLANE may seem a little ridiculous but it was on my bucket list anyway and I'm turning sixty in October so why not!
Please share so we can raise MS Centre Dorset's profile to reach as many people who have MS that could benefit like me from their services.
Thank you
