Story
On 5th December, I am embarking on another ridiculous voyage across India to raise money for RASASC Guildford, eat some food, get very hot, soak up some culture and attempt to travel 3-4,000 miles on a Royal Enfield Himalayan, which probably won’t get me up the Himalayas but will get me from New Delhi and back again over 6 weeks. Hopefully! Join me, as I ride in a roughly clockwise direction, for my usual honest appraisal of travel here Blogging idiot, but most of all, please donate to support this amazing local charity RASASC Guildford Limited, whose services have changed the lives of people I know.
RASASC Guildford Limited are an inclusive charity that supports survivors of all genders over the age of 13 from across Surrey, who have been raped, sexually abused or have had an unwanted sexual experience.
They offer free, one to one confidential helpline, counselling and Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) services. All their services are free and non-judgemental, and survivors of sexual abuse are believed, empowered and supported on their journey to recovery. They also run an education programme in schools and in the community to demystify the stigma around sexual harm and to raise awareness of consent, healthy relationships and where to access help and advice.
