Story

The Twilight Walk will help raise vital funds to allow your local Hospice to continue to deliver incredible, free, end of life services to the community of Halton.

Both of us are walking to raise funds in memory of people who received the outstanding care offered by Halton Haven Hospice. For the Lawro’s it’s Jane’s dad Ben Strunks and her friend Gill Wagg. For Kerry it’s her grandad Harry Ainsworth, her father in law John Noble and Ste’s Nan, Mary Morrison. They all played a massive part in our lives, and the care they received from Halton Haven was second to none.

The10km route starts at Victoria Park, Widnes at 3pm on Saturday 30th September, taking walkers through Kingsway, over the Jubilee Bridge to Ten lock Flight pub, Runcorn for refreshments and then back, finishing at Victoria Park with a well-deserved, exclusive medal.
