34k Challenge 2025
Campaign by Suicide&Co (RCN 1187985)
We are looking for 34 people/teams to take on the 34k Challenge; 34km on World Suicide Prevention Day, each with a fundraising target of £1000, so that together we can raise £34,000 to help us to continue supporting individuals bereaved by suicide.

Story

This year, on Suicide Awareness Day, my husband & I will once again be taking part in the Yorkshire Dales 3 Peaks challenge. After raising money for Mental Health UK previously, we’ve decided to support another charity close to home. Suicide&Co have supported me on my journey, dealing with grief & bereavement due to suicide, and I’d really like to give something back. If you can donate anything at all, it would mean so much.

Yorkshire Dales 3 Peaks is approximately 38k, and seeing as we know the route, I thought why not do it again, although I think we need to spice things up for future fundraisers…

The estimated number of people directly bereaved by suicide each year is around 34,000.

I am taking on the 34k Challenge for Suicide&Co, with a fundraising target of £1000, so that together we can raise £34,000 to help Suicide&Co to continue to achieve their mission of supporting individuals bereaved by suicide, and provide people with counselling sessions through Suicide&Co's Counselling Service.
