Story
When my Dad Ken Partridge was admitted to Sue Ryder, for 2 years the care and affection that he was given was immense and immediate! He absolutely loved being at the hospice from being looked after by some really incredible people (Angels in human form) to being made late night cheese sandwiches! Nothing was too much effort! Sue Ryder became a massive part of his final years and the care and attention and affection that was shown to my dad was nothing short of amazing!
Even when my dad's final few days were upon us, the staff at sue Ryder treated us (his sons/daughter/brother/sister and gramp) like we were part of the furniture! Allowing us to stay and be comfortable, use the facilities as if our own and to come and go as we please! Again nothing was a burden or a hindrance to the lovely members of staff.
We thank them all from the bottom of our hearts and hope that any monies donated can further provide the same care that my Dad received.
Myself, my brother Marc, Marc's two brothers-in-laws James and Luke, Their step dad Conrad and mine and Marc's cousin Ryan will be running the Cheltenham half marathon held on the 1st September.
It's been a while for me and for others their first half so please donate, anything is so amazing and appreciated and will help us achieve our team target of £1200.
Thank you so much.
