Story

After sadly losing my dad to suicide earlier on in the year, I came to the decision I want to raise money for mental health charity’s as sadly our country is in desperate need of support in this area. I myself have had my struggles with mental health but with sadly losing my dad this way more determined than ever to keep control of my mental health. My dads birthday month is October so I couldn’t think of a more fitting month to start my fundraising, so I’m taking on Mind's 10,000 steps a day in October challenge.

Now more than ever, people struggling from mental health problems need our support. In the UK, 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem this year. Mind needs your help so that they can be there for anyone who needs them, on the phone, in local communities and campaigning for change.

Please support my 10,000 steps a day challenge by donating to my fundraiser. You donation will help to make sure that information and support is available for everyone - on Mind's website, the helplines they run and through their online community, Side by Side.

Thank you.
