Praxis performing arts are raising money for the Born Free foundation to help them free all elephants currently living in captivity.

Historically, captive elephants have been used to carry tourists on safari, paraded on the streets for ceremony, have been chained in the sun at temples or used for entertainment at circuses and zoo's. We want to help put this to an end.

On the 20th, 21st and 22nd June 2024 our level 4 students will be performing 'The Magicians Elephant,' a new musical by Nancy Harris and Marc Teitler at The Questors theatre in Ealing. Come with us on a magical journey to the town of Baltese, where orphan Peter is on a quest to find his sister. A fortune teller tells Peter to follow the elephant and this sets in motion an incredible chain of events.

We will be fundraising at each of our shows but you can also donate here. Any contribution you can make will help put a stop to the mistreatment of these beautiful creatures and help release them from captivity.
