Story
To both acknowledge and celebrate the 50th anniversaries of McDonald’s in the UK and RMHC globally, we have set an ambitious but (in our opinion!) achievable fundraising target of £50,000.
This year we are hoping to go bigger, better and bouncier! We've decided to take on the Inflatable 5k (the world’s largest inflatable obstacle course) and we would love as many people as possible to get involved to help reach our target.
It’s a fun event for everybody! It doesn’t matter if you walk, jog or run and for those wanting that extra challenge you have the option to do a second lap and turn it into a 10k! It's an inclusive event, being led by members of the McDonald's Women's Network, and we'd love you to extend the invitation to your family and friends too.
All fundraising will be supporting the Ronald McDonald house charities, which is a lifeline to so many families ensuring families can stay close when their child is receiving treatment in hospital . It can make something that’s really scary a lot more bearable. The Charity helps keep families together, by providing accommodation near specialist children’s hospitals. It gives them a ‘home away from home’ where they can rest, cook and take time out.
Please come and join on during the 5K Inflatable in Edinburgh to support such a worthy cause. If you cannot join please where possible take time to make a donation to such a worthy cause- Thank you!
