Kelly's 100km Sahara Trek
Fundraising for Hope for Tomorrow
Fundraising for Hope for Tomorrow
In November 2024, I will be joining 10 amazing Hope for Tomorrow Supporters to Trek 100km across the Sahara desert.
I am very excited to be taking on the challenge but equally as nervous.
There’s a few of you that will be aware that I inherited the ‘Dickinson’ Family genes and suffer with the condition Epidermolysis Bullosa Simplex. In short, I get horrendous blisters on my feet, usually made worse in hot conditions.
So, I do question why I have decided to embark on a 100km trek across a desert.
But, it is a fantastic opportunity to raise funds for Hope for Tomorrow.
Cancer treatment causes sheer fatigue, it’s like someone has taken your batteries out. When you’re faced with a cancer diagnosis, time is crucial. How can people spend more time doing the things they love, with those they love, whilst still getting the life-saving treatment they need?
Hope for Tomorrow build and maintain mobile cancer care units, which change the lives of thousands of people suffering from cancer in England.
Will you help me drive cancer care forward?
