Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Woody, a little over two and a half years ago I was given the news no man wants to hear "I'm very sorry but you have advanced Prostate Cancer".

This cancer has changed a lot about me the treatment is quite devastating for any man but at least I'm alive and have an awful lot to be thankful for.

The simple truth is this cancer can be controlled if it's caught in it's early stages or even stopped before it has a chance to spread.

There is not enough awareness of Prostate Cancer and the symptoms that go with it.

My hope is this walk will help to raise awareness of what is the fastest growing cancer in men today. It will also raise funds into vital research into this cancer, this research is the reason I am still here today. The funds will go to Prostate Cancer Uk, an incredible organisation that devotes itself to research and providing support for those with this illness.

Please give as much as you can spare to help in this absolutely vital reseach.
