My name is Keith and I work for The Carpet Man based in Weymouth, Dorset.

I decided to raise money for Weldmar because of the amazing work they do for people in need of end of life care.

Weldmar is a charity which provides end of life care for people in Dorset. The care that they provide is totally reliant on public donations and their services are provided free of charge.

They receive only 21% of funding from the NHS which means they have to find a massive £18,000 a day just to open their doors. This comes from fund raising throughout the local community and a chain of 20 charity shops.

In March 2025 we will be travelling to Peru to trek to Machu Picchu.

This event will be life changing for me and the other trekkers. However, if I reach my target goal of £4950, not only will it be life changing for me, but for someone needing end of life care and their family too.

Over the next 12 months I will be coming up with ideas to raise the money to reach my target. At the moment fund raising is tricky for all of us, but any amount would be amazing.

With that in mind please dig deep and donate anything you can to help me reach my goal. Any amount small or large gratefully received.
