Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Marcus Stewart, the nephew of a close cycling friend of mine, has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), a rare, incurable condition affecting the brain and nerves.

As an ex professional footballer he is raising funds to support research and MND awareness through the Darby Rimmer charity.

In October I will be taking part in the #Teamstewart cycle challenge which involves cycling over 1000 km in 7 days visiting each of Marcus's ex football clubs - Sunderland, Huddersfield and Ipswich on the first leg and then Bristol City, Exeter, Yeovil and Bristol Rovers on the second leg.

We are hoping to raise over £10,000 between all the cyclists, along with donations we may receive when on the road. All donations are welcome no matter how small, they all help and contribute to the fight against MND.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
