Hello my name is Keira,

As some of you may know my mum was unfortunately diagnosed with Head and Neck Cancer in June this year (2024). This came as a shock to us all, seeing my mum decline as the cancer and treatment progressed is something I wish upon nobody, however cancer has messed with the wrong person. My mum continuously shows a positive attitude throughout this journey, Christies has shown a great deal of support and care "all nurses are amazing" mum says.

Whilst my mum and many others battle everyday with this cruel disease, it is only right that I do something to give back to Christies for all they do to help people going through Cancer and treatments. In a time of feeling useless I believe this is my opportunity to step up and give back.

I will be taking part in the Manchester Marathon (26.2 mile run) on the 27th April 2025. Throughout training and on the day, my Mums bravery and strength will keep me going. Any donations/shares will be greatly appreciated.
