Working relentlessly to make breakthroughs in CCHS research. We are building The Breathing Pacemaker. A first of its kind. Please follow our story.

Story

We, at Verve Homecare, are taking part in an event in support of Casper and Beauden, two lovely little boys whose care and needs are very close to our hearts. CCHS is an extremely rare genetic condition that affects only 1500 people worldwide. This condition leads to the loss of automatic control of the most basic living function, breathing. Sufferers are unable to breathe while asleep and some cannot do so even when they are awake. As a result, Casper and Beauden require ventilatory support to assist with breathing which is essential for survival.

Our challenge is to run the Brighton 10K to show our support and solidarity towards the crucial work that the Keep Me Breathing charity is undertaking. The charity's mission is to find new treatments that can help improve and save the lives of people who have been diagnosed with CCHS.
