Story

We are excited to be taking part in Birmingham Mind's Mental Elf Festive Fun Run on Sunday 1st December at Cannon Hill Park.

It will be our new baby’s first charity fun ‘run’ (we will more than likely be walking, because, you know . . . pushchair) and for such a good cause.

This is a unique event which focuses on bringing people together, not only to fundraise, but to raise awareness for mental health and wellbeing. It promotes the benefits of physical activity, connecting with people and doing something to help others.

These are all really important values which we hope to share with our baby as she grows.

We all know the festive season can be an extra difficult time for some people. Throughout December 2023, Birmingham Mind's helpline team handled 1486 calls.

All funds raised during Mental Elf will stay here in Birmingham to help support the vital services to support people with their mental health. Services such as our Central Wellbeing Hub at The Bullring & Grand Central.

Thank you to all our elves and to everyone who sponsors them. Together we can ensure no one has to face their mental health struggles alone.
