Being in nature has always been my happy place. The place I escaped the modern world, the place I could let go of all my troubles and just be. The outdoors has molded my life from my childhood days of making up stories in the woods with friends to my adulthood years of building life-changing relationships through shared love of outdoor adventures. The Washington National Parks in particular house some of my favorite nature spots in the world: from hiking the Pan Handle Gap at Mt Rainer to my favorite bike trail along Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park. Sharing these places with my loved ones are some of my most cherished life memories. I couldn’t be more excited to help raise money for these parks while also planning to embark on my first summit attempt of my favorite Mountain, Rainer!
