Story
I am taking part in Ness Factor 2024!
I'm really am seriously stepping out of comfort zone. A year ago if someone had said I’d be doing this, I’d have run a mile!… Albeit, very slowly … I’m not much of a runner 🏃🏽 .
I lost my dear mum suddenly in February, it really did give me a new perspective. There is lots I could say about mum, incredibly generous, bright, fun and warm. Overarching this was a sense of self believe and confidence to do your best in whatever you choose to do.
I am never going to be the best singer in the world, but it is something I have always loved doing , even if others around me maybe don’t always love it so much 😂..
I am incredibly nervous, but I fully intend to rise to challenge, face my fears and enjoy the moment! . .
The Highland Hospice is an utterly amazing much loved local charity that provides palliative care and support to patients and their families across the Highlands. For this challenge I will be working twice weekly with professional singing coaches to perfect my voice for the live final where I will sing in front of a panel of judges and an audience of over 350 guests.
The winner is chosen from a combination of judges scoring, audience votes and individual fundraising totals. All funds raised will go towards my scoring, however more importantly to a lifeline local charity so close to the hearts of communities throughout the Highlands. Whether you can donate £5 to £50 every penny will help make a difference.
Thank you for your support in raising these funds!
Much appreciation
