Three Peaks 24 hour challenge UK · 17 May 2024
In May, my Dad (and Papa to the girls) died after fighting pancreatic cancer for just over 5 years. As you know I'm not one to sit still for long but at times the sadness feels unbearable so I'm hoping to channel some of this grief into positive energy and maybe funds raised will help other people in the future.
It still feels raw, unreal and there are so many times when I have forgotten and want to call him or message him and the grief hits me again. At times it is unbearable but I know that I have to keep moving forward and by focusing on these challenges is really helping mentally and physically.
Thank you to all of you who have already supported my fundraising for the charity pancreatic cancer UK during the November 24 challenge.
Now I am hoping to continue to support the charity by signing up to climb the three peaks - Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis in 24 hours.
Dad has climbed Ben Nevis a long time ago and I love the thought of doing this in his memory on his anniversary. I miss him so much and I am looking forward to this connection during the challenge.
Myself and five others have created a team to face the challenge. Four of us will be supporting pancreatic cancer, one for Sarcoma UK and one for MIND. If you would also like to support these charities please let me know and I can forward you the links.
If you've made it this far thank you for reading. Your encouragement, support and donations mean the world to me and it will you guys and my Dad which will keep me going when the going gets tough!

Pancreatic Cancer UK is dedicated to taking on this injustice using every possible means. They're supporting people with pancreatic cancer now, campaigning, and funding vital research to transform the future. Help them to make the breakthroughs that people with pancreatic cancer so desperately nee
