Story
This is it people. I’ve dithered and moaned for long enough about my lack of London Marathon place. On Friday I said I wouldn’t do it. On Saturday I signed up 🤦🏻♀️.
So here we go!! I’ve signed up with Blood Cancer UK for obvious reasons. And if I’m doing it I am going all out. Training starts imminently because I need to work in the rest breaks too. And fundraising kicks off on the 3rd September 2023 with a charity cricket match.
I know times are tough so my intention is to make sure that you get to put the fun in fundraising. But if you can donate a pound anyway then I will be most grateful.
And after this I am not doing any more fundraising - ever!
Thank you to everyone who has donated in the past including for the half marathon that I missed. All money went to the other blood cancer charity ❤️
We're a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. We do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
