Story

WALK FOR MOUTH CANCER

Earlier this year a dear friend's husband Graham White passed away with Mouth and Throat cancer.

Most people do not know about Mouth and Throat Cancer, so this walk is to bring it to the attention of everyone to spot the signs in advance. This is the only walk for mouth cancer anywhere in the world.

Over 3,034 lives are lost each year in the UK from mouth cancer and worldwide the disease affects around 650,000 per year. The majority of deaths from mouth cancer occur because of late detection, due to a low public awareness of the signs, symptons and risks.

Dentists are well aware of any signs so regular check-ups are a must!

Please help get me to my target of £500. The money raised will be used to save and improve the lives of patients, carers and survivors, increase awareness and educate about all head and neck cancers.

Thank you :)
