The Climate Crisis isn't going away! As a Lay Minister in the Church of England I feel more and more that my faith is driving my calls for Eco Action because Christians are called to be stewards of this planet and to love our neighbours, rather than crazily go on doing things that damage the delicate balance of ecosystems, cause global temperature rises and rising sea levels that are already endangering lives and livelihoods in some of the poorest parts of the world.St Mary's Baldock is a member of Eco Church and has gained a bronze award level from A Rocha UK, a Christian Environmental charity, so I have chosen to support this charity in another project where they hope to transform 75,000 acres of Christian-managed and church-linked land for nature by 2025.
It would bril if you could help me celebrate my 60th birthday (3 March) by donating to this project to help churches transform their land to increase biodiversity and contribute to the desperate need to green-up our country and inspire others to do the same.
At Baldock, we have already developed a churchyard bee and butterfly friendly garden for pollinators so they can find pesticide-free nectar and pollen. This appeal by A Rocha will be able to produce eco results on a much bigger scale! Hurray!
Thank you so much for your support -
PS one of the best things about reaching 60 is getting cheaper rail fares with a Senior railcard so I don't need to use the car so much:)
