The cooperation band is a charitable music organisation, based in Glasgow, and comprises an amazing bunch of non-professional musicians who are passionate about sharing their music with their community and beyond. I have just been appointed as the Conductor of this wonderful band in December 2024.

The band has earned the opportunity to represent Scotland at the European Brass Band Championships in Stavanger, Norway in May 2025, and I have been given the honour of conducting them at this prestigious event.

The band, like so many other community arts organisations, is unsponsored, and will not receive any government arts funding to compete. In short, the band is in great need of financial support to make their dream a reality. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🎺

The cooperation band has been working tirelessly to raise funds for their journey to Norway. In solidarity with the efforts of all the players, I have committed to a SPONSORED FREE FALL on a GIANT BUNGEE SWING in Cairns, Australia in early January 2025. This personal challenge is aimed at rallying support for the band's European journey. 🇪🇺❤️
