We deliver the highest standards of care to people of all faiths and none.

Story

I'll be walking from our Head Office in Headingley, Leeds to our extra-care facility - Eller Beck Court in Skipton, covering approximately 29 miles. The majority of the route will follow the Leeds to Liverpool canal and I'm hoping to complete it....accompanied by my partner: Peter, and with a few stops! ....in 10 hours. I chose this date for the walk as it is in celebration of the birthday of John Briggs ( born 20 May 1789) who was : amongst other titles, rhe first Bishop of Beverley in East Yorkshire. Bishop Briggs raised funds for a Catholic orphanage in Leeds, Mount St Mary's from which the roots of our Charity grew. ( Beverley is also a place close to my heart as I was born in Hull and spent many childhoid weekends with my family on Beverley Westwood and also my mother was evacuated to Beverley during WW2. )

Our Charity:Catholic Care (Diocese of Leeds), has been rooted in Christian principles for over 160 years, extending its services to people of all faiths or none. Today, with a dedicated team of 200+ staff and volunteers, we embody values of genuine concern for the disadvantaged, vulnerable, and marginalised in society. Our commitment to providing the highest standards in professional care means that every single donation, no matter the size, fuels our mission to support the most vulnerable in society. Together, we make a difference.
