Story
I can't believe I am actually saying this but on 9th July 2023 I am going to jump from a plane at 10,000ft to raise money and awareness of Leo's neonatal.
The jump kickstarts NICU mental health awareness week which is a cause very close to my heart.
Oscar was born during the first Covid lockdown in 2020 and needed neonatal care due to Intrauterine Growth Restriction (IUGR), a condition when a baby’s growth slows or stops during pregnancy.
Leo's offer an array of support for families of babies who require a neonatal stay both during and after their stay including counselling, peer support, EMDR, occupational therapy, neonatal yoga, baby massage, attachment, swimming, messy play, sensory play sessions and more.
They have also recently obtained funding to run a bespoke perinatal service for families who have lost their baby or babies at any point during pregnancy, birth or in the perinatal period. It is a service which will impact the lives of so many.
Any donations big or small are much appriciated. Thank you so much.
Please note some funds may be used towards the cost of the skydive.
