Story
Katie and James are attempting the Bury Six Trek together at the end of September, to raise money for Bury Hospice. Katie will be trying not to give up, and James will be trying not to leave Katie behind 😅
There's 21 miles (35km) and 3000 feet (932m) of climbing so it will definitely be a challenge, but it's for a worthy cause!
Bury Hospice opened in 1991, and they have helped thousands of people through some of the most difficult times in their lives. They provide specialist, compassionate and palliative end-of-life care, but it costs £4m to run their services, and only 13% of this can be funded by the NHS. The remainder is raised via fundraising, their retail services and their lottery.
