Story

Every day, countless individuals and families are touched by the harsh reality of cancer. It is a disease that not only affects those diagnosed but also leaves a profound impact on their loved ones. I never had the chance to meet my grandad as he was taken from us far too soon due to this relentless illness.

Organizations like Macmillan and Lister Hospital play a crucial role in supporting patients facing this battle. Their dedication to providing care and comfort is invaluable, and it inspires me to take action.

On March 29, 2025, I will be participating in the "Lister Abseil 2025" event, scaling down an 11-storey block to raise vital funds for these remarkable charities. My goal is to raise £200 to ensure that they can continue their essential work for local patients, staff, and families at Lister, New QEII, Hertford County Hospitals, and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.

I kindly ask for your support in this endeavor. Any donation you can provide will be greatly appreciated and will make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
