Story
Alexander’s Grandad was diagnosed with the onset of Parkinson’s in 2021. Alexander decided that he wanted to do something to “help grandad” so he came up with the idea of challenging himself to wear shorts to school for the entire academic year 22/23; through the autumn & winter, spring & summer, whatever the weather, whatever the conditions.
His grandad loves both the outdoors and walking so Alexander thought that wearing shorts was a fun and appropriate challenge that would best reflect his grandad’s drive and determination to fight Parkinson’s.
Alexander is kindly asking that if you think his challenge is a good one, that you donate whatever you can afford, no matter how large or small, to his worthy challenge.
We have chosen to support the charity Parkinson’s UK for all your donations. By supporting their vital work, you can help them be there for every person with Parkinson’s. With your help, they can respond to what communities need right now, fighting for further change and chasing down a cure.
