Wing Walk for PAPYRUS 2025 · 9 August 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

Wing walking is a unique experience that you do not want to miss, fly through the air at up to 110mph and at a height of 700ft! Bring your family and friends for an unforgettable day and help save young lives!

Story

On the 9th August 2025 Kerri and Katie (aka Rooster and Maverick 😆) will be taking to the air to undertake a Wing Walk in memory of Katie’s 16 year old son Maxi and raise valuable funds for PAPYRUS.

On the 27th August 2024 Max Turton died by suicide, thinking that was the only way.

Chris and Katie have been supporting the charity PAPYRUS (Prevention of Young Suicide) to prevent this tragedy happening to another young person and family.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people in the UK, every year over 1800 young people took their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.

Every £10 raised can contribute towards a life-saving contact to HOPELINE247. Your donations really are changing lives, thank you!
