Running the Windermere Marathon for Brathay Trust

Fundraising for Brathay Trust
Since starting work for the Brathay Trust in 2022 as a Project Youth Worker based in Kendal, I have seen first hand the impact of Brathay’s work. Projects designed to provide new experiences for children and young people, supporting them through challenging times, and helping them to reach their potential.
Working for the charity I know we can deliver impactful projects but these need funding. After volunteering at the marathon last year and being inspired by so many people taking part, I’ve decided to run the Windermere Marathon to fundraise for the Brathay Trust. This will certainly be a challenge for me as I much prefer swimming in Windermere than running around it but I’m ready to give it a try!
Our charitable work is underpinned by enterprising fundraising and our supporters’ commitment. We know that, enthused by the belief in the transformational power of people working together, you can help us make a positive difference. Work with us to transform the lives of young people.
There are so many ways to help and discover the Brathay effect that is at the heart of everything we do.
On behalf of the children and young people, thank you for your donation and support.
