TCS London Marathon 21st April 2024

Story

I am thrilled to announce that I will be participating in the London Marathon 2024 to raise funds for the Royal Society for Blind Children (RSBC). As a secondary school pastoral support worker, I have seen firsthand the devastating effects of bullying and isolation on children with disabilities.

Blind children are particularly vulnerable, with a higher risk of depression and unemployment. In fact, 90% of blind people never have a long-term job, and two-thirds live below the poverty line. This is why I am running for RSBC - to help blind children realize their potential.

RSBC provides invaluable support to families with blind children, helping them create an environment where their child can thrive. They also offer programs and activities that build confidence and independence in blind children, fostering lifelong friendships along the way. With your help, we can make a real difference in the lives of these amazing kids.

My fundraising goal is £2,500 - every donation counts! Please consider supporting me as I run the London Marathon 2024 for this incredible cause.
