Story
I am taking part in the Thames Path Challenge, walking 22km to raise money for 50 Million Voices, a charity dedicated to supporting the 50 million people worldwide who stutter.
Through my good friend Iman, I’ve witnessed the daily struggles faced by those who stutter, and her strength and resilience have been truly inspiring. This charity does incredible work to remove barriers and help everyone gain greater understanding and acceptance of stuttering in the workplace, by raising awareness, educating employers, and empowering people who stutter through events, their main one being global Practice Interview events. This is a programme where they pair employers with people who stutter and give them a safe space to have a practice interview. The event is open for people all around the world to take part, and so far, they’ve helped nearly 600 participants from over 30 countries and 5 continents to improve their interview skills, confidence and success. Demand for more events is high and we're trying to raise money to deliver them later this year and next.
Please join me in supporting this wonderful cause. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated!
