We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

I have been teaching a young boy over the past few years at Thorngrove School who recently found himself facing up to the devastating news that he has a brain tumour. His situation has had a profound effect on me and, helpless as we all feel in these situations, I felt I needed to show my support in some way. I have decided to walk the Kennet and Avon Canal over the Marathon distance of 26 miles 385 yards in one day on Sunday April 2nd starting at a small place called Honeystreet just west of Pewsey at 6:00am and finishing about 10 hours later at Victoria Park in Newbury. I will be supporting the Brain Tumour Charity and any donations would help me complete what I hope will be a tough challenge.
