Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am a Dignity in Care Champion who is passionate in raising awareness of the importance of Dignity in Care and in ensuring it is at the forefront of what we do. My aim is to encourage and support people to have a voice and to ensure their voice is heard, to give people choice, to give people a sense of belonging and to empower people to stand up and speak out about poor practice. Therefore in order to raise awareness I have arranged and will be completing a 15mile sponsored walk alongside colleagues, friends, family and even some of the individuals I support joining in at intervals throughout the walk to get the word out there of how important Dignity in Care is.

Route: Starting at Mandeville School on Ellen Road Aylesbury; through to Stoke Mandeville via lower road B443; on to station road past Stoke Mandeville train station; on to the Wendover Rd A413; on to the Aylesbury Rd B4009 leading on to Upper Inknielld way; exiting onto Chestnut Avenue then leading to Halton Village; completing a circuit of Halton Camp; exiting Halton Village into Weston Turville; Leading back onto the Wendover Road into Aylesbury; onto Walton Street;; Head towards Aylesbury College via A418; follow on to the traffic lights, turn left into south court back to Mandeville secondary school.
