Story
I will be running the Manchester 10k on May 26th for the Kidney's for Life charity.
My Dad Stephen was luckily enough to receive a double kidney and pancreas transplant at the Manchester Royal Infirmary.
My Dad was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes aged 18 and spent most of his life insulin dependant, followed by chronic kidney failure and then regular dialysis for years.
The transplant was life changing for my dad and our whole family. It meant my dad had his freedom back and could start to live life to the full as a family thanks to the 'gift of life' from his kidney and pancreas donors.
I would like to raise some money to say thank you to the Kidneys for Life team that supported not just my dad, but my whole family during this time. Please help me reach my goal!
