Story
After a very tough start to 2023, I realised I needed to get fit, mentally and physically, so I started Couch to 5km and completed it in about 6 weeks. I’m now on the Couch to 10km 😬 but am unsure if I’ll ever complete that! I’m not a natural long distance runner - I’m more of a jogger/ plodder but it gets my heart rate up, gets me out of the house and into nature and generally makes me feel good (usually after, not during). So I decided to sign up to an organised race to keep me moving and have dragged my much fitter (on the inside and out 😂) friend Katie to run along with me.
We will be running 8km in an all female race for RISE.
