Story
OSCAR's Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity are running, sliding and bouncing over 5k of massive inflatables to raise money to support children with brain tumours and their families, raise awareness of signs and symptoms of this terrible disease, and fund research into better and kinder treatments.
We will be running ten years after Oscar Hughes died of a brain tumour aged just 9. His charity has helped so many other children in the same situation and the team taking on the run are doing so to help even more.
Me, Ben and Elliott are running as part of 'Team Alf' in memory of ten-year-old Alfie Hutchinson, who died of a brain tumour in March of this year. Please be as generous as you can, OSCAR's were a huge support to Alf, and continue to look after and support the Hutchinson's.
OSCAR's are very grateful to all the runners for their support and will continue to work with Alfie's family and school for as long as they need us. To learn about OSCAR's - past, present and future- head to oscarspbtc.org or follow us on social media @oscarscharity
