I am running the Hackney Half for Barts Charity. A charity which supports our East London Hospitals.

In 2021 my youngest daughter was born by emergency caesarean section at the Royal London Hospital. She was suffering with severe haemolytic anaemia and needed seven weeks of intensive care. If it were not for the world class care of the Fetal Medicine Team, NICU and SCBU she would not be here today. The staff were so highly skilled, kind and compassionate and supported us through the hardest time we have faced as a family. Their hard work allowed us to bring our cheeky and beautiful daughter home.

I also work at the Royal London Hospital with the Hepatology Team. I am so proud to be a part of a team that works so hard to drive forward healthcare improvements.
