Madison’s aim is to bake 125 cakes in one day to fundraise for Tiny Tickers, and here’s why:

From birth Madison has lived with multiple VSD’s, which in its basic form is holes in the ventricle of the heart. She has had surgery at 10 weeks and will need surgery in future to close them.

As a family we have been supported by many charities and more importantly talented doctors, nurses and surgeons throughout.

Fundraising for charities such as Tiny Tickers is vital as 1 in 125 babies are diagnosed with a congenital heart defect (CHD), although Madison’s weren’t picked up during the usual foetal scans. Madison’s CHD was picked up when she was 8 weeks old, therefore funds are essential in ensuring hospital staff are equipped and trained to pick up conditions like Madison’s at the earliest point.
