I’m taking part in Moonlight Memory Walk Cornwall for Children’s Hospice South West. 🌙

In April 2023, 3-year-old Tilda showed signs of general illness such as sleepiness, an unsettled tummy and persistent earache. After a precautionary call to 111 on Saturday and a couple of visits to our local medical centre on Monday and Wednesday, she had a seizure at home that Wednesday evening, April 5th. She was admitted to Bristol Children's Hospital within 24 hours. After an emergency operation on her brain, we had optimistic conversations about her gradual recovery. We discovered that Tilda had Strep A Meningitis. As we watched and waited and loved with all our might, Tilda became overwhelmed by the illness. On April 15th 2023, after all the family had read many stories and sung hundreds of songs, Tilda died with me (her mum Kat) and my incredible cousin Hannah by her side. Just over a month before Tilda’s 4th birthday.

Please help me reach my fundraising target of £500 to provide vital funds for local families. Children's Hopsice South West have provided our family with incredible support.
