Cold Water Dip 2024 · 1 December 2024 ·

Gather all your courage and brave the freeze this December by dipping into the chilly waters of Portishead's Open Air Pool.

Story

Darling peeps,

I am going to brave the cold (or enjoy a dip, as those of you know me know I love the cold water!) for a cause very personal to me.

2 1/2 years ago I received a stage 4 cancer diagnosis, and was told it was incurable. I have since been on treatment without pause, and am currently on my last available drug. This hospice is where I wish to go when the awful thing happens, although I hope that is not for a good while yet.

I know times are tight, but even a tiny donation would mean so much to help support this incredible place bring dignity and peace to patients and their loved ones during dark times.

Thank you for reading, and much love 🙏💚
