Story
I am really honoured to share that I am becoming a Trustee of the Miscarriage Association. To mark this milestone, I am going to be abseiling down the 289ft Lloyd's building - one of the most iconic, Grade 1 listed landmarks in the City of London.
Our journey with the Miscarriage Association began in 2021, when I had my first ectopic pregnancy. I was rushed into hospital during lockdown and while I was alone and scared waiting to have emergency surgery I turned to the M.A.s website for the vital information I needed to understand what was happening to me.
The M.A. has helped me and so many other women through some really dark times in their lives through providing resources, one-to-one assistance and their fantastic network of online and in-person peer support groups.
I am really grateful for everything the charity has done for me, and I am proud to be able to start supporting them and other women like me through my own fundraising.
Hugh and I hope that you will consider making a donation today to support my physical and metaphorical leap overcoming this challenge.
Every pregnancy loss matters, and if anyone reading this has been through similar experiences, please know that you are not alone.
