Story
On Friday 4th October, we will be handcuffed, charged with a crime, photographed and 'jailed' in Shepton Mallet Prison. Please consider donating to secure our release. All monies raised will support Paul's Place.
Paul’s Place is a small charity that enhances the lives of physically disabled adults and those with cognitive and sensory impairments.
The charity does this through activities and experiences that connect people, build friendships, and reduce loneliness. They promote skill development, independence, physical and mental health, and offer respite and support for carers. The charity envisions a world that embraces disability, ensuring everyone can live life to the full.
The impact is described by ‘Ben’ one of the charity's beneficiaries:
“Paul’s Place changed my life, and they still do. It’s nice being in a place where I’m not alone. It has opened my eyes to the feeling that, as a disabled person, we can, we matter, that we do have a voice"
