Kevin's fundraiser for UK Sepsis Trust in memory of Grandma.

Chiltern 50 Ultra Challenge 2024 · 28 September 2024 ·
At 9.25pm on Tuesday 24th September 2024, my Grandma Kathleen Brooker, sadly passed away at the age of 97. It wasn't her age that caused her passing. She unfortunately developed Sepsis.
I am dedicating my participation in the Chilterns 50k Ultra Challenge on Saturday 28th September and the Wokingham 15mile Walk on Sunday 13th October to my Grandma's memory and want to raise some funds to support the UK Sepsis Trust.
This is also open for anyone who would like to make a donation in memory of Grandma instead of flowers.
Fundraising is at the heart of our fight against sepsis.
It raises awareness, and sparks the question: “What is sepsis? In this way, fundraising can help prevent thousands of deaths & unnecessary suffering through knowledge & awareness of the symptoms.
It also funds our vital support work, Public Awareness, Educating Health Professionals & helping people adjust to life after sepsis through accessing our Support Group network. We also lobby government to support our cause and makes vital changes in areas such as the NHS.
Thanks for your support.
