Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am swimming 4.6km between the islands of Nevis to St Kitts in March to raise money for Gympanzees.
Gympanzees are a charity in Bristol on a mission – a mission to open up a world of fun and fitness for all disabled children.
There are 66,000 young people with disabilities within an hour of Bristol and over 1.1 million in the UK.
77% of children with disabilities cannot access regular leisure facilities so can’t play, exercise or socialise in the same ways as their peers.
This not only affects them, but leaves whole families in isolation, with 72% of parents suffering mental health issues as a result.
Gympanzees offers a solution, providing accessible fun and fitness for all disabled children.
Gympanzees are now looking to build a permanent centre and I would like to help them do this. I have witnessed first hand just how much Gympanzees have made a positive impact on individuals and families lives.
They are a wonderful charity so please donate anything you are able!
