Story
Helen, Helen, and Kate are taking part in Sue Ryder Starlight Hike Thames Valley.
On Saturday 21st October, we will walk 10k under the stars to remember our dear friend Kate Herbert who very sadly passed away this year after a diagnosis of inoperable pancreatic cancer.
We would like to raise funds for Sue Ryder to support the amazing care they provide patients and families in their hardest times. Kate was looked after by the team at the South Oxfordshire Palliative Care Hub and the Duchess of Kent Hospice in Reading.
Your support can help more people get the end-of-life and bereavement care they need and deserve.
- £25 could help fund an hour of expert care and help fill another family's final days with love
- £42 could go towards grief counselling sessions for people coming to terms with the loss of a loved one.
- £63 could go towards training a nurse to provide end-of-life care.
Sue Ryders specialist teams provide expert and compassionate care, which means the end of people's lives can be filled with friendship, family, and love in their final moments together.
