Story

Thank you for supporting me in the Deloitte Dares challenge to raise money for Place to Be, a children’s mental health charity.

Place to Be is core to some of interventions we utilise to address the gaps in adolescent mental healthcare in the UK. Together with our ecosystem and alliance partners, Deloitte aspires to Revolutionise Adolescent Multidisciplinary Services in the UK (‘RAMSuk’) by accelerating access to quality mental health support for those in need of the 6 million adolescents in the UK as they progress their educational needs.

My dare has been chosen in keeping with this fundraising initiative. Much has been said about the physical benefits of cryotherapy, but it also serves to alleviate mental health related issues such as anxiety and depression.

My challenge is to complete a cold water swim at the Parliament Hill Fields Lido on Saturday, 11 February.

If you would like me to do that, please donate and help raise funds for Place to Be.

Thanks in advance for your support
