During 40 days over Lent I am walking 100 miles to raise funds for the amazing charity ShelterBox who help support those in desperate need of shelter and emergency aid around the globe.

Recovery from war and natural disaster starts with shelter. Having somewhere dry and warm to sleep, to prepare meals and be with your family is vital for starting the long process of rebuilding your life.

I am aiming to raise enough money for a family sized tent (£405) with a shelter tool kit (£35) and a water filter kit (£60)

I will be clocking up the miles every day with my trusty pedometer!
