I'm very excited to be running the 2025 TCS London Marathon for CAFOD.

CAFOD is an international aid agency helping the poorest and most marginalised people in some of the most hard-to-reach communities across the world. They are currently helping people in the Ukraine, Gaza, Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan and other places in need.

One of their appeals is for the people of Sudan. Sudan is currently facing one of the world’s largest humanitarian crises with some of the highest amounts of refugees and displaced people, due to war which broke out last year. Sadly, this isn’t covered by mainstream media so not many people know about it, which demonstrates the importance of raising funds for CAFOD – so they can continue to be there when others aren’t!

CAFOD are currently helping the people of Sudan by:

-Sending financial support

-Providing emergency food packages to those people who have been forced to leave their homes, refugees, and to communities hosting them.

-Preparing for the distribution of cash vouchers to vulnerable families, so they can buy essentials like food, water and hygiene products themselves.

-CAFOD partners have been handing out hygiene kits that help with basic cleaning to prevent the spread of diseases.
