This October, we will be walking 100 miles to raise money for Breast Cancer Now! 🚶

Why? Because a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every 10 minutes in the UK. 🎀

Breast Cancer Now is a UK-based charity dedicated to supporting those affected by breast cancer and funding vital research.

Here are some key aspects of their work:

Support Services: They offer a range of support options, including online resources, phone support, and in-person assistance. This includes specialist nurses and trained staff who are available to talk and provide guidance.

Research: Breast Cancer Now funds world-class research focused on prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, and secondary breast cancer. Their goal is to create a future where breast cancer no longer claims lives.

Awareness and Education: They work to raise awareness about the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encouraging regular self-checks and early medical consultation if changes are noticed.

Community and Fundraising: The charity organizes various fundraising events and campaigns, such as the “Wear It Pink” day in October, to support their research and services.
