Event: Hospices to Holland, from 18 September 2024 to 22 September 2024
Raise funds for hospice care on this challenging 5 day European cycle ride in September 2024! We’re teaming up with St Michael’s Hospice on this wonderful cycling challenge which will take in four different countries through the European countryside.

Story

Starting in Eastbourne, our journey will pass along the south coast, across the channel, and then through the cycle-friendly cities and countryside in France, Belgium and Holland, finishing in Amsterdam. We’ll cycle past beaches, along waterways, and treelined canals dotted with windmills.

St Wilfrid's Hospice rely on the support of their community for 70% of their funding. By donating to St Wilfrid's Hospice, they can continue to help local people who need their services through the hospice building or out in the community. Their care and support can continue to be provided to those facing a life-limiting diagnosis, and they can continue to support the wider family through their bereavement services.

This will be my second charity bike ride! last year I rode to Paris and raised over £3000 for the Hospice. I hope to smash that this time. As always in memory of my brother Tony who passed away 5 years ago and spent his last weeks at the Hospice. As someone who has lost a loved one and now a Nurse at the hospice I see first hand what an amazing place the Hospice is and how important fundraising is to enable the hospice to continue giving outstanding care.

Every penny matters so however small your donation- Thank you x
